It is used in the concrete sleeper fastening systems of Indian Railways and is compatible with both 60 kg UIC and 52 kg rails. Our Anti-Vandal ERC Mark-V elastic rail clip is used in combination with a dedicated cir-clip, and features an anti-vandal mechanism, which effectively prevents prying-off or unauthorised dismantling. Our Anti-Vandal ERC Mark-V elastic rail clip is made of 60Si2Mn spring steel and hot-forged, with a hardness of 40–44 HRC and a clamping force ranging from 1200 kg to 1500 kg. And It is in compliance with the latest IRS/T-31 specification.

Anti-vandal ERC Mark-V Elastic Rail Clip Technical Requirements

Diameter Specifications：

A-B = 23mm. B-B-C: Precision tapering of diameter from 23mm to 20.64mm, to be done by hydro copying turning machine etc. C-C-D: Uniform diameter of 20.64mm to be achieved by turning using hydro copying machine. 

Inspection Requirements：

All dimensions are in millimeters. Clip shall be checked with inspection gauge per drawing 110-POSO/T-3746. 

Tolerance Requirements：

The diameter of the finished clip shall be measured at center leg with ±0.24 mm tolerance. 

Accessories:

Cir Clip (RDSO/T-6255), with groove for housing the cir clip. 

Marking Requirement:

Manufacturer’s initial/trade mark, last digit of the year of manufacture and lot no. shall be inscribed here.
