Rail clip also known as railway clip, is the core part of rail fastening systems. It uses spring elasticity to tightly fasten rails on sleepers. Matching with gauge blocks, rubber pads and base plates, it forms a full railway fastening system, and it plays an essential role in ensuring safe and stable railway operation. 1. W-type Elastic Rail Clip
The W-type elastic rail clip, also known as the W clip, because it is shaped like the letter W. We specialize in manufacturing W-type rail elastic clips, all fabricated from high-grade alloy spring steel. And they are processed by hot bending forming with rigorous heat treatment. It delivers long-lasting clamping force and enhanced fatigue resistance. And it effectively prevents lateral and longitudinal slippage of rails under high-speed heavy-load conditions. Main application scenarios for our W-type rail elastic fasteners: high-speed railways, heavy-haul railways and passenger dedicated lines requiring superior track smoothness and reliability. In addition, our W-type elastic rail clips are compatible with a wide range of rail fastening systems, including Type Ⅳ, Type V, WJ-7, WJ-8 and W14. a. W1 Elastic Rail Clip

b. SKL14 Elastic Rail Clip

2. E-type Rail Clip
The e rail clip gets its name as its shape resembles the letter "E". We specialize in manufacturing E-type rail clips, and they have the feature of simple installation and easy maintenance. The elastic rail clip fastening systems feature boltless, shoulderless construction, and it is a dominant development trend for modern concrete sleeper fastening assemblies. 3. Deenik Rail Clip
We specialize in manufacturing Deenik elastic rail clips, all fabricated from round cross-section spring steel bars, and they are manufactured through hot bending forming and strict heat treatment. It features an asymmetrical curved profile. One end clamps the rail foot, while the other is anchored into the slot of the pre-embedded iron chair or steel tie plate. Our Deenik railway clip has advantages of compact structure, excellent elasticity and easy installation & maintenance. This design allows the clip to effectively absorb vibration and impact when trains pass by, while maintaining stable clamping force. And it is widely used on European railway lines including those in the Netherlands and Germany.

As a vital part of this fastening system, our DE clips maintain consistent elastic pressure to fix rails firmly. All our clips go through dual anti-corrosion treatment including Dacromet coating and electrostatic spraying, offering great rust and wear resistance for long service life under harsh outdoor track conditions.
Elastic Rail Clips Manufacturing Process
Raw Material Inspection → Shearing → Heating → Forming → Quenching → Tempering → Anti-rust Surface Treatment → Finished Goods Inspection → Packaging & Warehousing
1. Raw Material Inspection: Raw materials are 60Si2Mn and 60Si2Cr alloy spring steel, whose mechanical properties shall fully comply with technical requirements. 2. Shearing: Spring steel blanks shall be cut to the exact lengths specified in process drawings. 3. Heating: The forging temperature is controlled from 900°C to 1030°C; overheating and overburning of steel are strictly prohibited.
4. Forming: Hot steel bars are sent to power presses for hot forging. 5. Quenching: Formed rail clips are transferred to quenching tanks. Inspection of dimensional tolerance and quenching hardness shall be performed before tempering. 6. Tempering: Clips are tempered at specified process temperatures to meet the standard hardness range for E-type rail clips.
7. Anti-rust Surface Treatment: All clips after anti-rust treatment shall meet the requirements of dimensional precision and mechanical performance. Clips for different regional projects are identified with unique marks and coating colors. 8. Finished Product: Inspection Final inspection is carried out in accordance with CRCC standards and customers’ customized technical specifications. 9. Packaging & Warehousing: Woven bags are used for standard packaging; custom packaging solutions are available upon customers’ requests.
