Our SKL Rail Clip Material

Our SKL-type rail clips are manufactured from 60Si2Mn, 60Si2Cr or Φ13 mm hot-rolled spring steel of equivalent or higher performance, granting them excellent fatigue resistance, high elastic limit and good hardenability. This enables them to maintain stable clamping force under long-term service conditions, effectively resist repeated alternating loads, and reduce the risk of fracture.

3. SKL14 Rail Clip

We specialize in manufacturing SKL14 spring rail clips. They feature high impact resistance, excellent anti-rail-turnover performance and superior anti-fatigue properties. They are applicable to heavy-haul freight lines, high-speed lines and small-radius curve sections under complex stress, and they are compatible with 60-75 kg/m heavy rails. Therefore, they are the preferred choice for railway lines for demanding service conditions.

The required hardness range is HRC 42‑47. The tested hardness of the sample is 44.9 HRC, which meets the hardness requirement. All dimensions are within standard tolerance. The overall sample test result is Pass. The table below shows main product parameters and sample test results for your reference.
